Building 320 is a 19,684 SF building within the National Historic Landmark District Boundary at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  The building houses offices for the Department of Emergency Services for the post.  Yaeger Architecture, Professional Engineering Consultants, and Acuity are designing the 35% renovation of the historic facility with a target cost of $9 Million.

The scope of work for the renovation is to develop a conceptual design (35%) and prepare a Design/Build request for proposal to repair and improve HVAC, Fire Protection, Lighting, Electrical, and Communications, Plumbing, Building Envelope, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, and Architectural Design.

Departments within Building 320 include a 911 Dispatch Call Center, Detention Cell, Command Group, and Administrative Support.  Portions of the building will be required to have backup electricity, FEMA rating, 7 different networks/communications systems, and separate HVAC tied to a backup generator.
